Noi aka Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo, is  a young composer of Madrid coming from the world of sonic experimentation. Began attracted by the world of the radio, being the director of a program of advanced music during 5 periods, and after a few years creating works in the field of the most intimate and personal thing, it is opened on the outside taking part in different festivals of music for the national territory.
His line in the latter years in the musical scene moves inside the territory of the minimalistic music, the ambient or even the concrete music; always with a cold, worrying and even cinematographic mod. His work framed inside what it might name an approach to experimental music, tries to be a personal approach to the world of the contemporary music, to new forms of communication and a way of transmitting a reality wich he becomes close to, but not for it it conceals to others.The sounds turn into the only and personal, instantaneous and unrepeatable, free experiences of any kind.

Has taken part in festivals as LEM (Barcelona, 2004), Emergencias.9 (Madrid, 2004), Vitoria Visual Territory (Vitoria, 2005), or more recently in the festival Mémora (Huesca, 2006) or Sonikas (Madrid, 2006).

Some of his most notable collaborations are with Gregorio Kazaroff and Ebba Rohweder for a project of unexpected music (free music); or in the performance project "Whispering", in wich he is working at the moment along with Iván Rojas and Gonzalo Catalinas joining spontaneously music, poetry and butoh dance.
